Essex crush poor Gloucestershire

|Essex 204-4 beat Gloucestershire 82 by 122 runs|
Alex Gidman, Hamish Marshall and Chris Taylor were all dismissed for ducks as Essex earned a crushing 122-run win over Gloucestershire.
Essex scored heavily throughout with Ravi Bopara (49) leading the charge as they amassed an impressive 204-4.
Graham Napier and Tim Southee then removed the visitors' top three in the space of five balls to leave them on 4-3.
Gloucestershire never recovered and were eventually all out for just 82.
The performance of the Gloucestershire batsmen was in sharp contrast to Essex, who plundered a total of 10 sixes between them.
Four of those came from the bat of Scott Styris, whose 39 from 17 balls guided them to a total that piled too much pressure on the visitors.
And Styris continued to enjoy himself with the ball, taking 3-12 from 21 balls.
