Hussey smashes a boundary on his way to a 45-ball 60 for Nottinghamshire

Australian David Hussey hit a rapid 60 in his first game of the season for Nottinghamshire in their 38-run victory over local rivals Derbyshire.

Riki Wessels (30) gave the innings a solid platform before Hussey smashed a six and five fours in Notts' 184-6.

Derbyshire began brightly with Wes Durston, who made a century in the same fixture last season, making 36.

The visitors finished on 146-8, Andy Carter, who bowled 13 dot balls, taking 4-20 on his Notts FL t20 debut.

Hussey, Samit Patel and Steven Mullaney took a wicket each, while Garry Park hit two fours and two sixes in an unbeaten 36.
