Guernsey have named sprinter Tom Druce, hurdler Kylie Robilliard and cyclist Tobyn Horton among 11 early picks for next year's Commonwealth Games.
Others to make the cut for Glasgow 2014 include Elena Johnson and Gayle Lloyd (badminton) and athlete Sarah Mercier.
Karina Bowie, Marina Bleasdale, James Roe, Joanna Watts and Michael Serafin will join Horton in the cycling squad.
Guernsey's Commonwealth Games Association said the team will be the best-prepared it has ever put together.
"Each of those athletes has proved themselves worthy of our continuing support and encouragement as they seek to make their mark on the international stage," added the GCGA in a statement.
Druce, who suffered a hip injury earlier this year, ran at the 2010 Commonwealths in Delhi, while Robilliard narrowly missed out on a place in the 100m final.
The remainder of Guernsey's squad will be announced early in 2014.
The island last won a Commonwealth Games medal, a bronze, in shooting in 1994.
