Anthony Joshua and Fred Evans to miss European Championships
Olympic medallists Anthony Joshua and Fred Evans are both set to miss the European Championships in June.
GB Boxing has announced its 13-man squad to travel to Belarus but neither super-heavyweight Joshua or welterweight Evans feature.
Joshua, the 23-year-old London 2012 gold-medallist, is still considering the next stage of his career and has yet to commit to a GB contract.
Included in the squad is flyweight Andrew Selby, who is aiming to become the first British boxer to retain a European Amateur title following his victory in Ankara, Turkey, in 2011.
Irish super-heavyweight Joe Joyce, who won five of his six bouts in the 2012-13 amateur World Series of Boxing competition, is one of 10 members of the British Lionhearts squad to be included.
