Super-bantamweight Rendall Munroe's next fight will be against an unnamed opponent in Oldham next month, reports BBC Radio Leicester.
He was due to fight on the undercard of the Gary Buckland against Paul Truscott British super-featherweight title contest in Newport on 26 November.
But Munroe, who aims to earn a second world-title shot, will now fight at the Oldham Leisure Centre on 12 November.
The Leicester man beat Japan's Ryuta Miyagi in Sheffield in September.
Munroe eased to a comfortable points win over his experienced opponent in the non-title fight on 24 September - a win that moves him a step closer to the world title shot that promoter Ricky Hatton has said he so deserves.
Munroe lost his WBC super-bantamweight title fight against Toshiaki Nishioka last October.
