Worcester Wolves head coach Paul James says teams must now respect his squad after a double win in league and cup.
Wolves saw off Mersey Tigers to reach the semi-final of the cup and then edged out Durham Wildcats by a single point in the BBL.
James told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "We are now a team to be reckoned with. Teams are going to have to prepare for us properly.
"We can win ugly and against Durham we maybe got a bit lucky."
He added: "You have to have a bit of luck to win anything.
"Durham are a good team. They have smart intelligent players and they play hard. We maybe didn't play that well against them but we got away with it.
"Don't be surprised to see them winning a few more games."
James says he had to give his side a half-time roasting during the BBL Cup game on Merseyside: "In the first half we were terrible. They got the hair-dryer at half time."
Wolves have a double header next weekend and James says they will prepare pretty much the same as last week: "We have to get used to playing double headers. We go back to Mersey and they we are at home to Plymouth."
