New signing Andrew Sullivan played a starring role as Leicester Riders secured back-to-back weekend wins.
The Great Britain skipper, who has joined on a week-to-week deal, scored 30 points in Saturday's 104-78 win over London Leopards in the BBL Trophy.
And he followed that up by contributing 16 points as Riders got their league campaign off to a winning start with a 80-59 success at Cheshire Jets.
Bradd Wierzbicki led all scorers with 19 points for the visitors.
The opening quarter was tight with both sides trading baskets and the lead regularly changing hands.
Jets led 21-19 early in the second period but that was the last time they had the advantage as the visitors began to step up the pace.
A superb 18-6 tear saw them 65-43 to the good going into the final stanza and they eased to victory.
On Saturday, Sullivan was unstoppable both inside and out, scoring five out of six from three-point range while also adding eight rebounds.
But although the result takes Riders top of their three-team Trophy group, it is unlikely to be enough to see them into the semi-finals - unless Leopards can produce a giant-killing against MK Lions.
