Badminton star Chris Adcock tells BBC East Midlands Today he is in the 'form of his life' as he starts to focus on winning the Olympic medal he so desperately craves.
Adcock, with wife and mixed doubles partner Gabby, are targeting Rio 2016 to complete an impressive haul and cap a memorable couple of years.
"I really want that Olympic medal on the mantelpiece," Adcock said. "I have Commonwealth Gold, World Championship medals and European medals. It's the one medal I haven't got so far."
The Adcocks are in action in the mixed doubles in the National Championships this weekend while Chris, 26, could face Gabby, 25, in the National Badminton League on Monday when his University of Nottingham team take on the Surrey Smashers.
