Sprinter swaps baton for bobsleigh

Olympic champion Mark Lewis-Francis tells BBC Sport's Nick Hope he wants to help the British bobsleigh team win their first Olympic honour since 1998, having joined the programme for the forthcoming season.

The sprinter - who was part of Team GB's 4x100m relay gold-winning line up at Athens 2004 - also hopes bobsleigh training could boost his prospects of a place in the British sprinting team at Rio 2016.

Lewis-Francis missed the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Games through injury, but is now fit and has impressed British Bobsleigh coaches to earn a place in their selection camp in Switzerland later this month.
