Sochi 2014: Jack Whelbourne crashes out in short track final
Great Britain's Jack Whelbourne crashes out in the short track speed skating final.
Whelbourne, 22, became the first British athlete to reach a 1500m short track final, after winning his qualification race and then finishing second in the semi-final.
Despite picking up an injury in the final, Whelbourne insisted he would continue to compete in Sochi in both the 500m and 1000m events.
The gold medal went to Charles Hamelin of Canada, the third Olympic gold medal of his career.
