Georgia Hallett and David Hatcher triumph in Welsh ski championship

The Wales Open ski Slalom Championships took place on the dry slopes of Pontypool - a run which both test and demands the very best out of the skiers.

The competitors from all over the UK had a chance to inspect the 240m slope before working out the fastest way down, having to meander between poles and gates.

Georgia Hallett, a 20-year-old dental student, won the women's title with David Hatcher claiming the men's crown.
