Triathlon: Jonathan Brownlee out for flying start in Abu Dhabi

Olympic bronze medallist Jonathan Brownlee says he is looking to "hit the World Series running", starting at this weekend's opening meet in Abu Dhabi.

The 24-year-old Yorkshireman and Olympic champion brother Alistair, who is not running this weekend due to an ankle injury, are aiming to deny current World number one Javier Gómez a third straight title.

The Brownlees must complete five of the nine World Triathlon Series rounds, and the Grand Final in Chicago in September, to stand a chance of winning the competition.
