Keri-Anne Payne altitude training

Two-time world champion and Beijing Olympic silver medallist Keri-Anne Payne has been training over 2,000m above sea-level in an attempt to gain a competitive advantage at the London 2012 Games.

BBC Sport's Nick Hope caught up with the open water specialist at her high-altitude training base in Sierra Nevada, Spain.

Payne is also set to marry fellow swimmer David Carry in September and hopes the distraction of her big day could help her Olympic bid.

You can hear more from Keri-Anne Payne on British Olympic Dreams this Saturday, 1300 GMT. The programme, on BBC One, also features rower Alan Campbell, gymnast Dan Keatings and weightlifter Zoe Smith.
