I'm still waiting to be paid - Pakistani snooker champion

A Pakistani snooker player says he is still waiting for a large cash reward promised to him by the country's sports minister for winning last year's Asian Games Championships.

Hamza Akbar says he was told he had be sent the money, but months after coming to the UK for training and taking part in competitions he claims he is yet to receive it - and says he will not be able to stay and improve his game without it.

There has been no comment from authorities in Pakistan. Asian Network's Rahila Bano has been to meet the champion.
