NZ pair smash rowing world record

New Zealand's Eric Murray and Hamish Bond smash the men's pair world record by a massive six seconds in their opening Olympic heat, coming home in six minutes and eight seconds.

The duo, who remain undefeated since teaming up after the 2008 Beijing Olympics, take James Cracknell and Matthew Pinsent's record that has stood since 2002.
