Eugene Laverty has learned from MotoGP experience

Eugene Laverty says he has "learned to be a more patient rider" as a result of the experience he has gained from two seasons on the MotoGP grid with the Aspar team.

The Toomebridge rider will switch to compete with Shaun Muir's Milwaukee Aprilia factory team in World Superbikes next season.

"I've had a really strong year because I've had a better bike under me. Next year I should have a bike capable of winning in World Superbikes," said Laverty, who lies 11th in the MotoGP standings with four rounds of the series remaining.
