Nelson reflects on Antrim heroics of '89

Jim Nelson looks back on the 25th anniversary of his Antrim team reaching the All-Ireland hurling final after a gap of 46 years.

The Saffrons pulled off one of biggest upsets in the history of the GAA when they beat Offaly in the semi-final.

Antrim would go on to lose to a Nicky English inspired Tipperary in the decider and a quarter of a century later the same Saffrons squad gathered for a re-union in Dublin on the eve of the 2014 All Ireland final.

Nelson, who managed the team of 1989, could not attend the event because of illness and in conversation BBC NI's Mark Sidebottom, these are his memories and the message he sent his team.
