Brakes put on Newtownards trials venue by council decision

Trials bikes enthusiasts protest as local council halt motorsport access to Newtownards Lead Mines venue.

The venue has been used for the sports for over 80 years and it hosted the World Championships back in the 1980s.

"We are very, very concerned that we have lost this location for practice and without the practice our sport is at quite a disadvantage," said 11-times Ulster Trials champion Andrew Perry.
