First Minister Peter Robinson offers support for North West 200

First Minister Peter Robinson offers his support to the North West 200 following the abandonment of Saturday's racing programme.

Mr Robinson says he will be putting the case for greater financial support and more flexibility around road closures at the Northern Ireland Executive table.

Three races were held at the international road race on Thursday evening, but the only race to be run on Saturday had to be halted after two laps after a number of minor incidents and persistent torrential rain on all parts of the course.
