McDonnell explains his Armagh exit

Armagh forward Steven McDonnell has revealed why he has decided to quit intercounty football.

The 32-year-old Killeavy clubman made his Armagh debut in 1999 and was in the team which won the county's only All-Ireland title in 2002.

McDonnell won three All Star awards and captained Ireland for the 2010 International Rules matches against Australia.
