Sullivan Upper beat Banbridge Academy in schools hockey final

Sullivan Upper win the Belfast Schools' Cup outright for the first time by beating Banbridge Academy 2-1 in the final at Lisnagarvey.

The Holywood school's only previously success in the competition had been when they shared the trophy in 1980.

Banbridge, who have never won the trophy, took the lead through Sarah Russel, but Zara Malseed equalised and Katharine Hill netted the winner for Sullivan.
