Tweddle on life after gymnastics

Britain's best-ever female gymnast Beth Tweddle talks to BBC Radio Stoke as she approaches the first anniversary of her retirement from the sport.

Just like Rebecca Adlington, Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton and David Beckham, every elite athlete knows they will one day have to walk away from a high level of performance and leave it all behind.

They face a new life and a new identity. The transition is a hard step to make, with emotional ups and downs.

Olympic bronze medallist Beth and her mum Ann, from Cheshire, talk to BBC Radio Stoke's Kick-off reporter Georgina Price on what has happened in her life over the last year and how she has adapted to life after sport.
