Ulster rugby coach impressed by school pal Darren Clarke

Darren Clarke's preparations for the Ryder Cup included a visit to the Ulster rugby squad to look at the management methods used in a team sport.

Among those he met was an old school mate, Allen Clarke, who is Ulster's assistant coach.

"He has got the desire to win, and has proved that over the years. He wasn't a bad rugby player either," said Allen.
