Rory McIlroy taking positives from US Open performance

Rory McIlroy says he will take the positives from his US Open performance at Merion after a four-under-par 76 left him 14 over.

"I played ok and I was unlucky with some of my tee shots. I'm now looking forward to the Irish Open," said McIlroy.

The Northern Ireland player showed his frustration when he bent his nine iron at the 11th hole after carding a quadruple bogey eight.
