US Open 2013: Graeme McDowell rues first round mistakes

Former champion Graeme McDowell rues the mistakes which saw him crash to a first round of six-over-par 76 at the US Open at Merion.

The Portrush player carded three double bogeys early in his round in what he described as "a sloppy start".

"It was a difficult round but I hung in there and it's not over - it was disappointing, but all is not lost," said McDowell.
