Britain's Tom Lewis delights in maiden European Tour win

British golfer Tom Lewis delights in his first European Tour win after finishing with five birdies in the last seven holes to claim the Portugal Masters, in only his third professional start.

The 20-year-old, who shot to fame by leading the Open as an amateur in July, recorded a closing 65 to finish with a 21-under-par 267.

The victory ensures the Welwyn Garden City-based player his European Tour card for two seasons and avoids a trip to Tour school in December.
