US Open: Donald, McDowell, McIlroy & Mickelson primed for action
New world number one Luke Donald, defending US Open champion Graeme McDowell, Rory McIlroy and four-time major winner Phil Mickelson look ahead to the US Open, which starts on Thursday.
Donald, fresh from his victory at the PGA Championship at Wentworth, says he's confident of "being in the mix" on the final day at Maryland.
Meanwhile, last year's winner McDowell, who has had a recent run of poor form, admits he is looking forward to the start of the tournament after a tiring build-up.
