Heather Stanning: Managing army life & Olympic ambitions

Olympic rowing champion Heather Stanning explains to Matthew Pinsent how she balanced life serving with the army in Afghanistan with her Olympic ambitions.

The 28-year-old, who won gold in the women's coxless pairs at London 2012, has just returned from six months in Helmand Province as she continues her preparations for the 2016 Rio Games.
