New GAA scheme promoting exercise in schools

The GAA is launching a new initiative for primary schools to help promote physical activity for their pupils.

As part of the project, Antrim GAA and St Mary’s University College have developed the GAA 5 Star Centre Pilot Project involving sixteen primary schools to promote physical activity for children.

The scheme is part of Antrim GAA's 'Gaelfast' strategy, which aims to increase membership levels in GAA clubs across the county.
