O'Rourke rues Monaghan's lack of urgency

Monaghan manager Malachy O'Rourke insists nerves were not a factor in the team's 0-18 to 0-14 defeat to Tyrone in Saturday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final.

O'Rourke's team also lost at the quarter-final stage to Tyrone in 2013 and to Dublin in 2014, with last year's qualifier win over Kildare their sole championship victory in Croke Park in recent years.

O'Rourke said he hoped there will be "no knee-jerk reactions" from the Ulster champions' senior players who may be contemplating retirement.
