McGlynn relieved as Donegal hold on to beat Cork in Ballyshannon

Frank McGlynn says Donegal showed great spirit to hold on to beat Cork in Division 1 of the Football League after the dismissal of Michael Murphy early in the second half in Ballyshannon.

After holding the scoreline to 0-5 to 0-5 at the interval after playing against the breeze, Donegal moved into a 0-10 to 0-5 lead but after Murphy's red card, Tomas Clancy's goal got Cork back into the game.

"In the end, we showed great heart to get the win," McGlynn told BBC Radio Ulster.
