F1 British Grand Prix: Did this kerb cause Silverstone tyre chaos?
BBC F1 technical expert Gary Anderson suggests that a high kerb with a sharp edge at Silverstone's Turn Four could have been responsible for a spate of punctures during Sunday's British Grand Prix.
Anderson says it is possible that the "inner side-wall" on the turn was causing the tyres to cut and this in turn was causing the blow-outs.
Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari's Felipe Massa, Jean-Eric Vergne of Toro Rosso and McLaren's Sergio Perez all suffered punctures during an incident-packed British Grand Prix.
