Hamilton storms to Singapore pole

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton storms to pole position at the Singapore Grand Prix, nearly half a second ahead of Pastor Maldonado.

The Venezuelan's Williams team-mate Bruno Senna crashed out of the session during Q2, with Romain Grosjean also hitting the wall but recovering to take eighth place on the grid in his Lotus.

The pole is McLaren's fourth in as many races, with Hamilton seeking to reduce the 37-point championship lead held by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso.
