Indian GP qualifying - top three drivers
World champion Sebastian Vettel is "extremely happy" after claiming his 13th pole position of the season at the first-ever Indian Grand Prix, ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Mark Webber.
The Red Bull driver says the new circuit was "challenging", and now needs just one more pole to equal Nigel Mansell's record, set by the Briton in 1992.
Hamilton, who qualified second but will start fifth because of a three-place grid penalty, says it was a "surprise" to split the two Red Bulls and is optimistic of having a good race.
