'Not taking charge of NI in qualifiers would have been wrong' - Michael O'Neill

New Stoke City boss Michael O'Neill says leaving Northern Ireland before their Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Netherlands and Germany "wouldn't have been the right thing to do".

O'Neill was appointed as the Stoke manager last Friday but will take charge of Northern Ireland for their two games over the next four days and also expects to be at the helm for any Euro 2020 play-off in March.
