Chief executive Ian Maxwell denies Scottish FA 'failed children'

Chief executive Ian Maxwell apologises for the "abhorrent" abuse suffered by young people under the care of the Scottish FA, but denies it has "failed children".

Abuse victim Peter Haynes called on Maxwell to resign over his "offensive, poorly judged and insulting" comments.

The SFA boss has since been in touch with victims to clarify his remarks.
