Gerard Lyttle 'not daunted' by move to full-time football with Sligo Rovers

Sligo Rovers manager Gerard Lyttle says the prospect of a move to full-time management with the League of Ireland club is not a daunting one for him.

Lyttle took the "tough decision" to leave Cliftonville on Friday to begin "a new chapter" in his managerial career.

The 39-year-old revealed that he offered to remain as boss of the Irish League club until the end of the season but his offer was turned down by the Board of the Solitude club.
