Ards chief on attempts to get new ground

Ards chairman Brian Adams says the club are determined to secure a new ground in their home town of Newtownards.

The newly-promoted Irish Premiership side have been without their own headquarters for 15 years and currently play home fixtures in the neighbouring town of Bangor.

Adams said various scheme have fallen through, including one to build a pitch on a former landfill site owned by the local council.
