Clough 'disappointed' with defeat

Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough says he is "disappointed" his side came "so close" to reaching the League Cup final after a 3-2 aggregate defeat to Tottenham.

The League One club went into the second leg at Bramhall Lane 1-0 down and Christian Eriksen doubled that lead early on for Spurs.

But United's 18-year-old substitute Che Adams struck twice from close range in three minutes, before Eriksen secured a 3-2 aggregate win with a composed low finish.
