Over-achievement is dangerous - Allardyce

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce says over-achievement is "very dangerous" after the sackings of Neil Warnock and Alan Irvine from their posts at Crystal Palace and West Brom respectively.

Allardyce believes that more anger and less patience in the stands means that managers "have to stand the heat" more than ever before to keep their jobs.

The Hammers have enjoyed an excellent first half of the season, picking up 31 points from 19 games, but Allardyce believes his side must continue to evolve and win football matches if he is to keep his job as a Premier League boss.
