Ports survive late Crusaders surge to go top of the table

Portadown survive a late Crusaders fightback to move to the top of the Irish Premiership by securing a 3-2 victory at Seaview.

A Michael Gault strike made it 1-0 at half-time and further goals from Mark McAllister and Darren Murray looked to have made the three points safe for the the Ports.

Billy Joe Burns and Jordan Owens were on target for the Crues but Stephen Baxter's side were unable to find an equaliser.
