West Brom 1-2 West Ham: Alan Irvine says team were too nervous

West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Irvine says his team's nervous display led to them conceding two first half goals in their 2-1 defeat to West Ham.

Craig Dawson scored early on for the home side to end Albion's 323-minute Premier League goal drought but strikes from Kevin Nolan and James Tomkins sent the Baggies to a fourth straight defeat.

Irvine's side have won only three of their last 21 Premier League home matches.
