Brian Little: Jersey FA director of football role 'appealed to me'

The Jersey Football Association has appointed former Aston Villa and Stoke City manager Brian Little as their first director of football.

Little plans to use contacts from a 45-year career in the game to try and increase the number of games the island side plays, as well as getting more opportunities for local players and coaches.

"Being involved from a different angle appealed to me," he tells BBC Channel Islands News.

The 60-year-old, who spent his entire playing career at Villa, also managed Darlington, Leicester City, West Bromwich Albion, Hull City, Wrexham and Gainsborough Trinity.
