World Cup 2014: Ghana looking to exorcise 2010 agony

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says his young players are undaunted by the competition they face in Brazil and are keen to move on from the memories of their country's World Cup exit in 2010.

Ghana agonisingly lost out on the chance to become the first African team to reach the semi-finals of a World Cup, when Asamoah Gyan's penalty miss against Uruguay effectively cost the Black Stars a place in the last four in South Africa.

Ghana's first game in Brazil is against USA in Group G on Monday night in Natal.
