World Cup 2014: Thierry Henry says France can reach quarter-final

Former France international striker Thierry Henry says Les Bleus have the ability to reach the quarter-finals in Brazil and put behind them the disaster of the last World Cup in South Africa where they crashed out in the group stages after earning a solitary point.

Henry, a World Cup winner in 1998, added that the appointment of Didier Deschamps as coach had helped change the French team's fortunes but said the competition in Brazil will be fierce.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona forward also said the English media "have a different type of obsession" with the national team's players, and "like to add extra pressure".
