World Cup 2014: Nothing wrong with Steven Gerrard - Roy Hodgson

England Manager Roy Hodgson says there is "absolutely nothing wrong" with Steven Gerrard, after his skipper appeared to drop out of training early on Monday.

The England boss also confirmed he aims to have Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain fit for England's second Group D match against Uruguay on Thursday, 19 June.

He added that he has no special plan to deal with Italy playmaker Andrea Pirlo - who was instrumental in Italy's defeat of England at Euro 2012 - stressing his side were "not getting hung up on one player".
