I'm happy to play anywhere - Rooney

Wayne Rooney says he is "happy to play anywhere" after scoring for England in their 2-2 friendly draw against Ecuador, while manager Roy Hodgson is worried over Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's injury.

Rooney and Rickie Lambert scored in a lively match in Miami, which saw Raheem Sterling and Ecuador's Antonio Valencia sent off.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was taken off with a knee injury, and Hodgson says he will "remain optimistic" while he awaits the results of a scan on Thursday.
