Peru's national stadium disaster - 50 years on

BBC News's Piers Edwards tells the story of the worst stadium disaster in sports history, where 328 people lost their lives at in Peru's Estadio Nacional 50 years ago.

On 24 May 1964, Peru were playing an Olympic football qualifier against Argentina in Lima when a disallowed Peruvian goal sparked a chain of events that left a deep scar in the country's sporting history.

Peru will play at Wembley for the first time in the South American nation's history when they take on England in pre-World Cup friendly on Friday.
