1966 World Cup Final: Peters volleys England in front

Martin Peters volleys England 2-1 in front against West Germany with just 12 minutes left in the 1966 World Cup final at Wembley.

The midfielder reacted after West Ham team-mate Geoff Hurst's blocked shot looped into his path six yards out.

Peters' first goal of the tournament puts England on the verge of their first World Cup win.
