Wenger takes responsibility for rout

Arsene Wenger says he takes "full responsibility" for Arsenal's 6-0 thrashing by Chelsea in his 1,000th game in charge.

Wenger points the finger of blame for the performance at himself, saying "when you do not turn up in a game like that it is your responsibility", adding he feels it will be "very tough" for them to have any chance of winning the Premier League title.

The Gunners boss believes "the game was over" following the wrongful dismissal of Kieran Gibbs after just 15 minutes of the match, and says a referee "should be able to change his mind" in such cases of mistaken identity.
